Senior .NET Developer (Closed)

About the Company  

Our client specializes in investment research products and they are looking to hire a Senior .NET Developer. 

About the Opportunity 

• This is a senior hands-on .NET developer (backend server-side coding, no UI) 

• This person will be participating in regular meetings with the business users/teams to understand requirements for solutions/changes/POCs that need to be developed/delivered 

• This team works on the Portfolio Accounting product  

About You 

• SME level experience in backend .NET coding, desire to code 75%+ of the time 

• Experience with business user facing meetings, understanding requirements, working on proof of concept code, etc 

• Experience with design and architecture of backend solutions 

• Very strong understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases 

• Very good communication skills 

• Local to Ontario 

• Experience in the financial industry is a plus 

• Experience with modernizing legacy code (they have some C++ remaining) 

• Local to GTA area 

Salary Range 

$150,000/year
