About the Company 

Our client is a crown corporation and "government business enterprise" that is looking to hire a Senior Manager, Security Operations (SOC). 

About the Opportunity 

• Looking for a Senior Manager, Security Operations, this person will manage all operational aspects of the security program that includes but not limiting to vulnerability management, identity & access Management, incident response and data loss prevention 

• They will also have solid experience in information security technologies as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills 

• Looking for a pioneering mindset, who has the vision and roadmap to improve their SOC 

• SOC mainly manages with primary monitoring, prevention, detection, investigation, and responds to cyber threats around the clock. (7/24 monitoring with PWC) 

About You 

• 7 + years of Hands on practical cybersecurity experience. 

• 4 + years of team management working as a Manager/Supervisor in Security Operations (SOC) 

• Hands on experience with BCP, DR initiatives 

• Strong experience with incident management, vulnerability management, hardening, key management, identity and access management, data loss prevention etc

• Experience with network and application security, mobile device technology and other security environments, to address problems and roadmap optimum plans and solutions

• Excellent comms, presentation skills, running simulations. 

• Knowledge of the evolving cyber security technologies (Zero Trust), best practices and threats. 

• Bachelor’s degree

• Cyber Security Certificates 

• 4-year university degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field is an asset 

Salary Range 

$160,000/year
