About the Opportunity

• Manage, support, develop, and involve the finance team in all department tasks
• Oversee full cycle accounting process such as reporting, GL, A/P, A/R, payroll, budgeting, revenue, and expenditure variance analysis
• Oversee full cycle month end close process including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations
• Manage and assist in the development and maintenance of accounting files and records
• Review, recommend, and implement internal controls for improvements and/or efficiencies
• Respond to accounting requests and inquiries from internal stakeholders in a timely manner
• Manage and complies with provincial and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
• Leads the preparation for the annual audit

• Manage financial banking and external professional relationships
• Develop meaningful and appropriate performance indicators
• Assist in the design and development of automated reporting and analysis solutions
• Performs complex analyses of financial and/or statistical data and prepares reports for management

About You

• CPA (CA preferred)
• 5+ years or related experience
• Good people management and reporting experience
• Experience working for a company whose revenue was $250M or less
• Strong data analytics and FP&A skill set

Salary Range

$110,000 - $130,000/year
