About the Opportunity

• Responsible for the monthly and quarterly financial reporting relating to estimated losses for Sr. management, external reporting for shareholders, audit committee, and board of directors under IFRS accounting standards
• Quarterly presentation for the Audit Committee on estimated losses
• Financial analysis and monitoring performance and KPI metrics
• Analyze trends in evaluating accounts receivable, revenues, cash receipts and allowance for expected credit losses
• Management of complex financial models
• Managing financial analysts looking after large volumes of data and model, monthly journal entries, making estimations on cash receipts when necessary, and management of daily East reporting and weekly East payments
• Involvement with ERP project for accounts receivable and understanding of new unified data platform for the storage of PS and ERP data and the rewriting of needed queries for the financial model in the new software system
• Managing deliverables to external auditors for quarterly review engagement and annual audit
• Help with internal audit requests as needed and ad hoc special projects as needed

About You

• CPA or CFA designation or equivalent
• Minimum 8 years working experience in an accounting or finance environment
• Exposure to IFRS and Public financial reporting and analysis is required
• Sound experience in database systems and SQL queries
• Exceptional working knowledge of MS applications including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Experience with Peoplesoft and SAP is an asset
• Proficiency in qualitative analysis and willingness to learn new programs as applicable, i.e. Python

Salary
$130,000 - $140,000/year
