Our client is a leading investment management company specializing in a multitude of asset classes through a network of unique portfolios. They are currently looking for a Senior Manager to play a pivotal role in preparing trial balances for several legal entities on the platform and will consolidate results.

About the Opportunity

• Keep the financial books and records for several legal entities that include management companies, carry-interest entities and holding companies
• Book all entries related to assets, liabilities, revenues and expenses
• Perform various reconciliations to ensure the overall accuracy and completeness of the trial balance and ensure intercompany transactions and balances are tracked
• Assist in writing accounting position papers on various technical accounting topics
• Assist in perform IFRS accounting control assessments
• Prepare purchase price allocation and related entries for new and existing allocation including impairment testing
• Calculate and record minority interests
• Prepare a consolidation worksheet in excel on a quarterly basis
• Complete reporting schedules to be delivered to the holding company
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and notes for various companies on the platform
• Assist in the external audit of the various entities. This includes, but is not limited to, communicating with the auditors, providing various items/analysis requested by the auditors and completing disclosure checklists

About You

• CPA
• 10+ years of related experience within Technical accounting and preparing consolidation worksheets
• IFRS 10, IFRS 11, IFRS 12 and IAS 28, IS 27 experience
• Global company experience with JV/Subsidiaries

Salary Range

$120,000 - $150,000/year
