Senior Lead Pega Consultant (Closed)

About the Opportunity

  • Produce both high-level and detailed-level designs to be used during the implementation of Pega based solutions focused on business requirements and defined architectures
  • Participate in scope definition workshops and owns delivery of the completed work
  • Peer with Process Architects to understand / identify/ reuse scopes of work, architecture design documentation and look for other opportunities to enhance the environment
  • Assist developer resources by providing guidance and advice on technical issues and reviewing their work
  • Share complexities as an input into costs for a project and helps estimate work effort
  • Collaborate with architects, designers/developers, business system analysts and testing specialists to deliver high quality solutions
  • Coordinate with both onshore and offshore teams to ensure coding, testing, debugging and implementation activities are completed as required
  • Analyze, define and document requirements for data, workflow, logical processes, interface design, internal and external checks, controls, and outputs
  • Contribute to defining timelines and project plans; analyze and estimate feasibility, cost, time and scope
  • Works with the Product Owners to review, adjust or create the Definition of Done (DOD)
  • Ensure information security standards and requirements are incorporated into all solutions
  • Contribute to the ongoing support, stability, scalability and performance of application systems in production
  • Manage problem analysis, resolution, and escalation and reporting as necessary
  • Continuously look for ways to enhance the environment and user experience

About You

  • University Degree or College Diploma in a related discipline
  • 5 + years’ experience designing and delivering complex enterprise level Pega Case Management Projects
  • 3 years of hands-on technical working experience with Java/J2EE (JSP, Servlets, EJB, XML); relational databases (Oracle/DB2/MS SQL Server)
  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience with full SDLC and systems integrations
  • Demonstrated senior level skills and experience with solution designing/developing encompassing internal facing and external facing applications
  • Senior level experience and knowledge of BPM concepts, techniques, tools and delivery approaches
  • Knowledge of the PRPC Architecture, as well as PRPC design & implementation features
  • Strong data modeling experience is required to be successful in this role
  • Experience working in Agile and Waterfall environments
  • Certified Lead System Architect (CLSA) certification is a strong nice to have and highly desired
  • Pega Certified System Architect (CSA) is a strong nice to have and highly desired
  • Strong documentation and presentation skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to engage with and explain concepts to both business and IT stakeholders
