Senior Hyperion HFM Specialist (Closed)

About the Opportunity

• Provides senior expertise or leads the Hyperion HFM/FCCS implementation effort
• Coordinates activities to support the business through full life cycle HFM/FCCS implementations including contributing to design effort through development, training, documentation and go live
• Advising on technical designs and development best practices as the lead for the application and reporting components of the project
• Employ financial consolidations and reporting knowledge and past experiences to architect and develop optimal consolidation and reporting solutions incorporating best practices
• Configure HFM/FCCS application components, including optimal dimension configuration, business rules / VB Script customization, web forms / task list definition, Hyperion Financial Reporting Studio reports, Smart View templates in line with business, functional and performance requirements
• Assist with data conversion and interfacing activities, including user support to load and reconcile data
• Prepare key deliverables such as requirement documents, design documents, development inventory, test documentation, training materials and administration/procedural guides
• Supervise, train, and coach junior team members
• Provide Project Management on small to medium size HFM/FCCS projects
• Gather business requirements and turn into practical consolidations and reporting solutions
• Create necessary project documentation based on design sessions
• Provide effective solutions in building complete HFM/FCCS solutions including metadata, rules, Financial Reports, Web forms, Smartview, and security
• Good working knowledge of data collection tools such as ODI, FDM and FDMEE
• Write and maintain clear, concise functional and technical specifications on HFM/FCCS applications and business system processes
• Troubleshooting and optimization of HFM/FCCS applications

About You

• Bachelor degree
• At least four years of experience working hands-on with Hyperion HFM or FCCS
• Advanced analytical, diagnostic and technical skills
• Understanding of corporate month end close and consolidation process and actual corporate reporting requirements
• Application design experience, in full or in part
• Experience in developing rules in HFM and FCCS
• Experience developing solutions in FDMEE or Data Management
• Experience developing Financial Reports
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to travel without restrictions
• Ability to productively work from home office
• Consulting background
• Ability to work well in a team environment

Salary

$90,000 - $95,000/year
