About the Opportunity

• Maintain, update, and build upon the corporate model –including analysis of the Net Asset Value, cash flow, and financial metrics;
• Review and challenge business plans and valuations prepared by regional platforms;
• Perform discounted cash flow sensitivity and analysis for strategic initiatives;
• Own the quarterly infrastructure and renewables fund valuation and reporting process;
• Fulfill ad hoc information requests from investors, rating agencies, investment analysts and senior management;
• Assist in the preparation of organized presentations targeted at senior management;
• Perform financial due diligence on new acquisitions to support investment team deal processes;
• Work collaboratively with other of the company’s groups to systematize routine process, including the ongoing transition of manual tasks to a data platform. Requirements
• Quick learner and ability to build a rapid understanding of the business and business drivers;
• Solid analytical skills with strong attention to details;
• Well organized and ability to synthesize and conceptualize complex ideas and translate them in to applicable financial models;
• Ability to think independently and be proactive in using internal and external resources to achieve results;
• Ability to locate and collect data from appropriate sources and analyze it to prepare meaningful and concise reports that summarize the information;
• Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to work with and build relationships with a diverse group at all levels of the organization;
• Ability to work in a team setting; collaborates with team members across the organization

About You

• CPA, CA designation or CFA/CBV
• 3 or more years of relevant experience;
• Demonstrated interest in working with investments through previous work experience, extracurricular, or other personal experiences;
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel (financial modelling) and MS PowerPoint (presentations);
• Experience working in business valuations, financial due diligence, or a financial modelling role a strong asset;
• Experience with Bloomberg and CaptialIQ an asset;
• Working knowledge of IFRS and accounting and financial analysis principles and practices.

Salary
$90,000 - $95,000/year
