Senior Financial Analyst, Treasury (Closed)

They are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst, Treasury who will be accountable for aspects of the North America Cash & Liquidity function including forecasting and funding, along with compilation, coordination and analysis of global cash positions.

About the Opportunity

• Daily Cash Management – Support North America Cash Management (Canada, US, & Mexico)
• Reconciliation of daily cash positions against actual results and manage the resolution of any discrepancies
• Analyze cash positions of all cash pools to determine funding needs and initiate cross funding
• Manage cash through the coordination of information related to receipts, disbursements and bank position reporting
• Strive to maintain minimal cash float balances
• Ensure proper reporting & management of standalone cash balances Cash Forecasting
• Support cash forecasting processes with operating groups and divisions and perform variance analysis
• Continuously improve forecasting compliance & accuracy through working with groups and divisions
• Communicate with operating groups and divisions to understand all daily cash flows Reporting
• Produce monthly Global Cash Review
• Cash-split between cash and bank indebtedness
• Review daily cash reporting in Power BI for accuracy of reported balances, investments and borrowings
• Review and understand reported changes in balances, investments and borrowings

Other Duties

• Assist in Treasury related projects as assigned
• Contribute in development of Power BI reports
• Create and explore new technology and reporting tools for Treasury
• System Administration responsibilities for various Treasury systems
• Performs all job functions abiding by the office/work standards as outlined in the company handbook
• Perform all job functions in a safe, healthful and environmentally conscious manner, abiding by all health & safety rules and regulations as outlined in the company handbook
• Perform other duties as assigned

About You

• CPA (or in-progress) or CTP (or in-progress)
• University degree
• Requires knowledge of principles and the ability to conduct analysis
• Ability to prioritize tasks to take action
• Experience and proficiency with MS Suite (Excel, PowerPoint)
• Knowledge and experience with HFM (Hyperion) & Power BI is an asset

Salary Range

$85,000 - $95,000/year
