Senior Financial Analyst, Technical Accounting (Closed)

Our client is a large technology company with excellent growth prospects both organically and through acquisition. They are currently looking for a Senior Financial Analyst, Technical Accounting, to take on a significant focus on technical accounting research and policy.

About the Opportunity

• Oversee the monthly PS revenue recognition function including reviewing forecast/actuals
• Analyze accounting treatment of large multi-million dollar revenue contracts with multiple deliverable elements
• Provide support post-acquisition to the business during financial integration
• Assist with preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements and note disclosures
• Develop commentary and presentations on financial analysis and reports for senior management
• Prepare PS project reconciliations on a monthly basis

About You

• CPA, CA from Firm (Big 4 or Publicly Traded Company)
• Strong fundamental accounting and audit knowledge with an excellent grasp of IFRS reporting standards
• Extensive experience in % of completion accounting for both time and materials PS projects and fixed fee projects
• Experience in analyzing large customer contracts with multiple deliverable elements

Salary Range

$80,000 - $85,000/year
