Senior Financial Analyst, Supply Chain (Closed)

Our client is leaders of household consumer packaged goods with growing revenues. This role will require the candidate to be a business partner with various stakeholders, as well as peers. The Senior Financial Analyst will work closely with operations, supply chain, and other leaders to provide support in terms of FP&A.

About the Opportunity

• Perform variance analysis for inbound and outbound freight
• Investigate inbound and outbound freight variances, analyze trends
• Prepare and distribute monthly, quarterly and annual logistics reports
• Assist with monthly forecast and annual budgeting process for logistics, performing analysis and providing commentary on all major changes
• Perform the logistics month-end general ledger close activities which includes compiling and analyzing financial information for entry to the general ledger
• Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations on general ledger accounts, and balance discrepancies
• Perform periodic review of transportation payments
• Provide back-up support to the Senior Financial Analyst responsible for Transfer Price Costs and Purchase Price Variances
• Lead and participate in special projects and process improvement initiatives to gain efficiencies
• Make recommendations on improving established policies and procedures and implement changes
• Participate in SOX testing and process review
• Liaise with internal and external auditors

About You

• CPA or MBA
• Experience in supply chain finance or experience supporting a logistics team
• Solid knowledge of US GAAP and/or IFRS

Salary Range

$80,000 - $85,000/year
