About the Company
We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A for our client. This candidate will be responsible for financial and operating analysis oversight, building financial models and analytical tools to measure overall financial performance on a local, regional, and national level, develop short and long range financial / operating forecasts, actively participate in the financial processes for the business including the monthly business reviews, cashflow processes, annual budgets, and ad hoc business reporting

About the Opportunity

• Work with the Finance and Operations team and independently across the company to provide analysis and insights to key stakeholders including company leadership
• Ownership of Government Subsidy and Grant reporting and analytics function
• Month end reconciliation analysis of regional, provincial/state, and country revenue and cost drivers that impact profitability
• Create models, analysis and presentations that condense complex topics into actionable information
• Drive internal process improvements and controls; continually identify opportunities for automation to allow the team to perform world class analytics
• Oversight of cashflow reporting and forecasting on a weekly, monthly, and basis
• Provide analysis and prepare reports in areas such as forecasts, financial plans, month-end reporting, and budgeting
• Participate in special projects and ad hoc assignments as required

About You

• CPA or working towards a CPA in as asset
• Minimum of 3 years of audit experience is an asset
• Experience performing FP&A duties is an asset
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Eager, willing to learn and a positive attitude

Salary Range
This role will start as a contract with a salary expectation of $90,000 - $95,000/year once the position goes permanent, depending on experience.
