Our client is a full service electrical contractor, specializes in large scale projects. They are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst-FP&A who will be responsible for preparing the forecasting, budget to actual analysis and ad hoc reporting requirements

About the Opportunity

• Preparing the monthly lender reporting package and ensuring the company is in line with all covenants and reporting requirements
• Completing the monthly divisional reporting slide deck and ensuring that the divisions are in line with their budget and forecast
• Analysis and discussions of monthly financial performance with management. Propose recommendations to resolve or mitigate negative performance and trends.
• Assist in the preparation and analysis of annual financial budgets and monitor actual performance against budgets. Identify reasons for variances, issues and trends.
• Initiate, prepare and provide ad-hoc reporting/analysis and research to assist business decision-making.
• Working closely and cooperatively with colleagues and business unit managers to ensure adherence to all accounting and finance policies and procedures.
• Coordinate year-end audit file preparation and assist in other regulatory audits with external auditors
• Any other duties as requested to meet company objectives.

About You

• CPA
• 5-7 years of FP&A experience
• Complete knowledge and practical experience of full accounting cycle
• Sound knowledge and experience of IFRS accounting, financial planning, budgeting & forecasting and financial reporting

Salary Range

$80,000 - $95,000/year
