Our client is a leading pharmaceutical company with an established global presence who is looking to hire a Senior Financial Analyst who will be responsible for strategic planning and forecasting in support of various business units. The position will be an integral role in business partnering with other departmental leads.

About the Opportunity

• Financial lead for the assigned Business Unit managing the P&L for products in all stages of lifecycle including launches and acquisitions
• Develop analysis to inform business cases and projects across the affiliate
• Understand the business implications of environmental and economic changes including PMPRB, public listings and competition
• Exemplify high integrity, fiscal responsibility and business ownership
• Lead the quarterly forecasting and annual business planning process for the Business Unit and support functions
• Owner of the business plan process ensuring alignment and support across functions including Business Unit leader, marketing, sales and affiliate leadership
• Thoroughly assess, challenge and recommend action on the strategic direction and financial submissions
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of multiple excel and SAP submissions to Corporate
• Prepare financial variances for month, quarter and YTD results to corporate providing understanding of business drivers and risks
• Co-create monthly financial presentations and present financial results to senior leadership in a clear and concise manner
• Oversee copay invoice and program cards payment process for select products
• Manage the account reclassifications and account reconciliations including accruals for the Business Unit and support functions

About You

• CPA is an asset
• 3-5 years of strong FP&A experience
• Tangible goods industries with a preference for pharma/healthcare
• Exposure working with senior leadership, business partnering

Salary Range

$85,000 - $90,000/year
