Senior Financial Analyst (FP&A) (Closed)

Our client is one of Canada’s largest privately owned construction companies. They are looking to add a Senior Financial Analyst to their finance team who will be responsible for financial modelling, analysis, budgeting and forecasting.

About the Opportunity

• Foster and develop strategic business partnerships with functional and departmental leaders
• Develop modelling and other analyses to drive initiatives, monitor trends, and identify exceptions
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning processes
• Develop top to bottom profit and loss, balance sheet and cashflow projections
• Partner with leads to develop and own the Project Budget Review process
• Analyze projections and other financial models to support decision making and assess the financial feasibility of business initiatives in collaboration with other departments
• Assist in setting new standards and processes for finance across the many Canadian Divisions and preparation of formal memos outlining issues/implications/solutions/etc.
• Develop new processes and new reporting to better understand cash flows month to month and budget vs. forecast

About You

• CPA
• 2-4 years of experience from a public accounting firm
• Working knowledge of JD Edwards, Hyperion or Essbase
• Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills

Salary Range

$85,000/year
