Senior Financial Analyst - FP&A (Closed)

Our client is a leading organization in the construction distribution industry. They are looking to add a Senior Financial Analyst as a key member of the FP&A team and is responsible for establishing business partner within the sales & marketing team they are in.

About the Opportunity

• Assist the Executive team with budgeting, forecasting, monthly financial review and analysis
• Customer pricing, costing and profitability analysis; financial modelling and analysis
• Sales forecasting by product category, channel and location
• Analyze and review product / gross margins by customer on a monthly basis
• Manage price changes and make appropriate recommendations for margin improvements through partnering with the sales and marketing groups
• Assist with cost reductions and continuous improvement projects
• Analyze and interpret monthly financial results and underlying data to explain variances to budget, prior periods and forecast on a proactive basis
• Develop and enhance tools to improve financial infrastructure and organizational effectiveness

About You

• CPA or MBA
• 2-3+ years of accounting and analysis experience
• Must be confident and motivated to frequently collaborate with operations general managers
• Nice to have FP&A experience from a manufacturing, CPG, or inventory based industry
• Nice to have strong understanding of inventory analysis/cost accounting is an asset

Salary Range

$80,000 - $85,000/year
