About the Company 
Our client is a leading professional services company that is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst, Financial Reporting who will be responsible for timely and accurate corporate financial reporting for the company and its subsidiaries. As part of this role’s responsibilities, it will include supporting financial schedules for the quarterly/annual financial statements and helping to draft supporting schedules for the MD&A.

About the Opportunity 

Financial Statements and Analysis

• Assist with the monthly/quarterly/annual close process, including consolidation and financial statements
• Prepare monthly/quarterly/year-end adjustment(s) of divisional information in order to provide accurate internal and external reporting in compliance with the Company’s accounting policies
• Contribute to the preparation of quarterly/annual consolidated financial statements through the compilation of various note disclosures
• Assist with the consolidated inter-company reconciliation process
• Prepare monthly consolidated financial statements for internal purposes, including assisting with the preparation of monthly variance analyses
• Assist with the reconciliation of statutory financial statements for foreign entities to the consolidated financial statements under IFRS
• Assist with working papers and reports for calculating tax provisions and filing tax returns

Accounting

• Compilation of data and performing analysis in complex spreadsheets with large volumes of data
• Support the research and preparation of technical accounting memorandums
• Conduct the accounting for several holding companies

About You 

• Professional CPA designation required
• Public company reporting experience  (Eg IFRS and Consolidations)
• Public Accounting experience is an asset
• Minimum 3-4 years experience

Salary Range 
$85,000 - $95,000/year
