Senior Financial Analyst, Financial Reporting (Closed)

Our client is a publicly traded technology company.  They are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join  their team. This role will be mainly assisting with the preparation of financial statements.

About the Opportunity 

• Assist with the monthly/quarterly/annual close process, including consolidation and financial statements 
• Assist with preparation of quarterly/annual consolidated financial statements  
• Prepare working papers of financial comparatives and analysis for quarterly and annual MD&A 
• Assist with the consolidated intercompany reconciliation process 
• Assist in the management of financial reporting processes and policies 
• Assist with the reconciliation of statutory financial statements for foreign entities, to the consolidated financial statements under IFRS, noting the differences 
• Compilation of data and performing analysis in complex spreadsheets  
• Support the research and assessment of technical accounting treatments for new/unusual transaction and new/amended accounting pronouncements (as necessary) 
• Liaise with internal and external auditors to provide working papers and responses to audit requests 
• Assist with the continuous improvement and implementation of financial systems (e.g. ERP, consolidation) 
• Prepare ad-hoc analysis and reports to support the senior finance management team or business units (as required) 

About You 

• CPA / CGA or Working Towards 
• Experience in a Big 4 or Big 6 Public Accounting Environment 
• Working knowledge of IFRS & Consolidations 

Salary Range 

$85,000 - $90,000/year
