Senior Financial Analyst

About the Opportunity  

• Prepare monthly financial reporting package for management review and reporting to shareholders, with a consolidations accounting mindset at all times
• Responsible for preparation of quarterly/yearly financial statements and Management’s Discussion and Analysis (MD&A)
• Prepare monthly reconciliations of complex accounts for management review
• Coordinate the completion of quarterly variance analysis in the pursuit of accurate and timely financial statements
• Responsible for consolidation accounting and complex accounting entries (debt, derivatives)
• Key contact/liaison with external auditors for quarterly/yearly reviews/audits, preparing working papers and documentation for their review
• Assist with the ongoing reporting to shareholders which are weekly, monthly, quarter, etc.
• Maintain and update financial reporting system on an as-required basis

About You

• Designated CPA (CPA, CA preferred)
• 3-5 years’ experience in a financial reporting/accounting environment
• Experience in financial statement preparation, consolidations and complex accounting policies
• Strong Interpersonal and communication skills

Salary Range
$75,000-$85,000/year
