Our client funds innovators in low- and middle-income countries and Canada. They are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst, Compliance who will play an integral part of the Corporate Finance Team, providing financial services to all areas of the company

- Conduct compliance assessments, spot-check audits, innovator information sessions
- Develop compliance/audit objectives, scopes, audit programs, and compliance tests in collaboration with the Finance and Programs Teams
- Work with external audit firms who are completing some spot-check audits
- Write formal findings letters based on the final evaluation of the compliance assessments and audits. This involves analyzing, and documenting the strengths, weaknesses, and controls of the reporting entities/projects
- Prepare and review compliance reports and presentations ensuring they are clear, concise and well organized
- Ensure proper execution of compliance/audit procedures and adequate documentation for findings
- Assist in spot-check audit memos for the Audit, Finance, & Risk Committee
- Provide guidance and interpretation of the organization’s funding policies and procedures, both internally and externally
- Support and mentor junior staff
- Travel up to 10%, internationally and domestically (Please note due to COVID, there is no planned travel for 2022)
- Other related duties as assigned
About You
- CPA
- 3 to 5 years accounting experience required, with grant management or non-profit experience preferably
- Audit/Compliance experience
- Strong knowledge of Excel (VLOOKUP’s, Pivots)

$70,000 - $80,000/year
