Senior Manager/Senior Consultant - 6 Month Contract (Closed)

Our client is currently in need of a Senior Financial Analyst  to cover a 6 month term.  The ideal candidate will have experience within financial services or insurance.   Supporting the Director of Finance you will be leading the month-end close process and assisting with the preparation of financial statements.

About the Opportunity

• Reporting to the Director of Finance and assisting with the month-end close process
• Lead the close process including the reconciliations, journal entries, preparation of financial statements, cash flow and analysis
• Lead audit as well as financial planning and analysis process
• Provide analytics/metrics to provide insight into financial analysis
• Assist with the preparation of annual corporate and indirect taxes

About You

• CPA (CA preferred) but open to considering other designations (CMA/CGA)
• At least 3-5 years of experience in an accounting environment
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and Excel
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work under pressure while ensuring accuracy and completeness of information
• Excellent written/verbal communication, organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Pay Rate

$37 - $43/hour
