Senior Financial Analyst

Our client is a private investment firm. They are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst.

• Assist in updating and generating reports from Addepar (performance management platform)
• Assist in the preparation and completion of month end and quarter end processes
• Gather portfolio company financial statements to provide initial top-down review and setting up the initial general ledger for comparability and entry into new general ledger system
• Assist in the formation and standardization of report generation and financial reporting procedures
• Monitor collection of monthly financials and budgets of portfolio companies
• Maintain portfolio financial summary spreadsheets
• Monthly reconciliation with investment brokers
• Monitor collection of tax slips
• Review financial results for the investment portfolio
• Organize tax slips and reconcile to income, coordinate with KPMG
• Complete ad hoc financial analyses on investments
• Organize historical and current investment and financial documents
• Support the creation and updating of project pro-formas for real estate projects
• Assist in the due diligence process for private equity investments
• Ad hoc modelling to support all business groups
• Work closely with investment managers and business partners

• Undergraduate degree in business, finance, or accounting
• At least three years of work experience in a finance or accounting role
• Accounting entry and classification knowledge for various companies across multiple industries

Salary Range 
$75,000 - $85,000/year
