About the Opportunity

Participate in the month-end close process, and responsible for posting journal entries in SAP
Partner with the Payroll and Compensation teams to ensure all Compensation related costs are captured and accurately accounted for on a monthly basis
Work closely with Finance team as well as business units to ensure all transactions are recorded in timely, accurate and complete manner
Perform assigned account reconciliations
Analyze monthly results and provide insightful analysis and commentary on business performance
Perform Compensation reporting and variance analysis monthly
Prepare information required and liaise with internal and external auditors for quarterly reviews
Document and maintain existing reporting procedures
Identify areas of process improvement in partnership with all relevant stakeholder groups on an ongoing basis
Ad hoc projects as require

About You

6+ years of Accounting and Reporting experience
Professional designation - CPA (required)
Advanced Excel and ERP system experience (SAP experience an asset)
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Strong knowledge of IFRS, intercompany and Balance Sheet reconciliations
Experience in reviewing current accounting processes and innovating changes to create efficiencies and improve reporting
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Enjoy working independently and within team environment
Ability to build solid relationships with business partners
Ability to manage multiple tasks within tight deadlines and work in fast paced environment
Able to work past scheduled hours due to deadlines, month or year-end requirements

Pay Rate
$45/hour
