Our client is a publicly listed company in the resource extraction industry . They are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst who will be supporting with the review and preparation of public financial statements

About the Opportunity

• Assists in preparation of schedules for financial reporting
• Participate in implementing and maintaining new SOX compliant internal controls
• Participates in month end processes including account reconciliations
• Collaborate with non-finance teams to streamline our processes
• Prepare accounting analysis and memos
• Assist in maintaining policy and procedure documentation for various processes
• Maintain monthly, quarterly and year-end working papers and spreadsheets to support financial reporting and analysis and preparation for audits
• Ad hoc projects

About You

• CPA
• 3+ years combined experience in accounting and finance
• Previous experience strongly desired in financial reporting, audit, inventory, and controls testing
• Advanced Excel skills and excellent knowledge of MS Excel

Salary Range
$90,000 - $95,000/year
