Senior Financial Analyst (Closed)

Our client is a real estate company. They are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst – FP+A.  This position will have a major impact on the success of the Finance team as this role produces many key deliverables including financial and operational analysis and reporting.

About the Opportunity 

• Lead the semi-annual budget and the quarterly financial re-forecast process and liaise with all departments to deliver the annual plan including creating analysis and presentation to Senior Management and Investors 
• Prepare the Cash Forecast, integrating trends, forward-looking knowledge of the Company and collaborating with our Operational and Investment team members to ensure the forecast is accurate and complete 
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual operational performance reporting and analysis to the Investors and Senior Management 
• Onboard and incorporate new acquisitions into existing performance reporting and budgeting process 
• Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing variances on key KPIs 
• Develop, own and improve financial models and analysis to support key decision making, strategic initiatives/special projects 
• Assist in new debt management and treasury requirements 
• Forge strong working relationships within Finance  
• Drive continuous improvements and automations in processes and reporting, proactively identifying opportunities for enhancements 

About You 

• CPA, CBV, or CFA 
• Experience with Cash Flow modelling - (eg IRR,DCF)  
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in analytical,  financial planning & analysis and/or accounting 
• Superior proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and in particular, PowerPoint and Excel 
• Experience and familiarity with Yardi, Power BI and VBA on Excel are an asset 
• Experience working in real estate investment industry is an asset 

Salary Range 

$90,000 - $100,000/year
