About the Opportunity

Responsible for full-cycle accounting including:
- period-end close
- prepare detailed balance sheet account reconciliations and maintain general ledger
- preparation of monthly summaries, analysis, reports and associated journal entries
- resolve accounting discrepancies and variances
- other duties as assigned by manager
Assist with year-end audit:
- prepare detailed working papers
- help answer audit queries
- ad-hoc requests

About You

CPA or close to designation
Minimum of 5 years related work experience in a similar role from education/healthcare or NPO
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis and reporting
Experience with Baan is an asset
Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Effective problem analysis and problem-solving skills
Works well as part of team and independently
Able to take initiative
Ability to work in a deadline driven environment
Strong Excel skills (pivot table, VLOOKUP, sum if)

Pay Rate
$42/hour
