About the Opportunity
- Execute monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables (journal entries, reconciliations, reports) in compliance with accounting standards.
- Successfully collaborate with business partners to ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures, and controls and provide support on special requests.
- Participate in various department-wide initiatives.
- Assist in coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors.
- Allocate and prepare monthly Income Statement and Balance Sheet analysis reports.
- Analyze financial information and report on financial results (trends, performance metrics, benchmarks, etc.).
- Responsible for the continuous improvement and automation of the accounting and reporting process.
- Coordinate Ad-hoc projects as necessary.
- Provide Balance Sheet account reconciliations.
About You
- CPA designation or in progress
- Minimum 2-3+ years of experience in full-cycle accounting
- Experience with bank cash management systems.
- Experience in an NPO environment is a strong asset
- Experience in financial accounting, including general ledger maintenance and reconciliations.
- Intermediate experience using MS Excel (financial and data functions).
- Experience with MS Great Plains, Management Reporter, Ariett, and Insite considered an asset.

$80,000/year
