Senior Financial Analyst (Closed)

About the Company
Our client is a precious metals streaming and royalty company offering bespoke financing solutions to the metals and mining industry. They are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to be located in Toronto, Canada, working directly with the Finance team in support of new and ongoing initiatives. The Finance team is looking to add bandwidth to support the increasing needs of a recently public company, now listed on both the TSX (2021) and NYSE (2022).

About the Opportunity

• Preparation of monthly (and more fulsome quarterly) analysis of complex/non-routine financial and/or operating results
• Preparation of monthly management reports and analysis of results, budget and G&A
• Strong technical competency will help with accuracy and automation/efficiency
• Maintenance of orderly memos and working papers of the Financial Statements/MD&A
• Preparation of income tax provisions, HST returns and relevant intercompany invoices
• Assisting with the preparation of presentations and/or reports
• Liaising with external auditors and service providers, as well as internal colleagues
• Manage timelines for financial reporting throughout reporting period, in line with close process guidelines
• Oversight of back-office functions, including management of Accounts Payables and expenses

About You

• CPA designation required
• Post-secondary degree in Finance
• 3 years of progressive experience in financial reporting (IFRS) and complex accounting/analysis

Salary Range

$85,000 to $95,000/year
