This is an exciting role at a growing, international manufacturing company.  They are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst who will be responsible for the preparation of the annual budget, short term forecasts, long range plan, and management reporting for the North American commercial business unit.

About the Opportunity

• Partner with Regional Commercial leadership teams
• Develop/Utilize existing model to budget P&L and Capital items, Balance Sheet at a detailed level
• Work directly with Senior business leaders to develop a participative annual budget for all corporate entities for Sales, Marketing, and other Corporate Departments.
• Work with business units to develop quarterly forecasts
• Prepare, from multiple sources, a monthly management report that informs management of activity within the business and impacts on channel contribution margin
• Perform Price, Volume and Mix Variance analysis to understand and communicate margin impacts of such
• New Business Development Modeling and Business Case Documentation
• Develop a KPI dashboard; investigate results, and recommend actions to management to improve operational performance
• Work closely with the finance & accounting team members to assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports to ensure accuracy in financial performance reporting
• Prepare ad hoc analysis as required

About You

• CPA
• 4 years of experience in a financial planning & analysis capacity within the retail industry
• Solid understanding of Canadian GAAP for Private Enterprise and IFRS
• Mastery of excel at an advanced level

Salary Range

$90,000/year
