Senior Financial Analyst (Closed)

Our client is in the medical services industry. They are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst who will support with various modelling/analysis (ie, bringing on new customers, margin analysis, profitability analysis, etc).

About the Opportunity

• Lead month end close process and mentor junior members of within the team
• Perform various month-end activities including variance analysis, GL details review, bi-annual inventory valuation
• Collaborate to prepare and review various  components of the financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow Statement)
• Improve the quality of financial reports and models, seeking opportunities to streamline analysis and processes
• Facilitate, compile and analyze schedules required for the quarterly reviews and annual audit
• Develop and foster close working relationships with various internal teams within Finance
• Assist with audit requests
• Help develop ad-hoc financial models through collaboration, for new business, existing business, and commercial activities (Logistics, Distribution, OPEX) to drive effective business decisions
• Other ad hoc and special projects and duties as needed
• Supporting Business Development and Sales through development of KPI’s, analysis of sales pipeline in SalesForce

About You

• CPA
• 3+ years of financial/accounting work experience with financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis focus
• Strong knowledge of internal controls and IFRS

Salary Range

$85,000 - $90,000/year
