Senior Financial Analyst - FP+A (Closed)

Our client is a leading professional services  management company with a multitude of expanding business lines. They are currently looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to assist with a hybrid of responsibilities including FP+A and  month-end.

About the Opportunity

• This role will be mainly broken down by FP+A (70%) and 30% Month end
• Role will be mainly business partnering, assisting with budgeting/forecasting and analysis
• Role will be assisting with forecast modelling and analysis
• Analyze budget and forecast variances and provide commentary on the results
• Record journal entries, and maintain and reconcile general ledger to the job cost and other sub ledgers.
• Perform timely month end close and ensure recording all pertinent transactions
• Analyze financial results and prepare monthly reports and analysis
• Conduct detailed profitability analysis of variances between planned, forecasted, and actual figures
• Assistance in conducting accurate and complete forecasting of revenue and margins by project
• Take a lead role in working with Operations and other Finance team members in the development of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts

About You

• CPA or CPA In-Progress (close to completion)
• Hybrid experience of FPA (Budgeting/Forecasting, modelling & Analysis)  and month end
• Full cycle accounting experience- Month end/ journal entries, reconciliations
• Great communication skills

Salary Range

$75,000 - $85,000/year
