Senior Financial Analyst (Closed)

About the Opportunity

• Prepare internal (operational) financial statements for management
• Prepare key performance indicators (“KPIs”) and dashboards for operations management using both financial and non-financial data
• Correlate monthly operations data (e.g., production metrics) to financial data (costs and profit) to highlight the opportunity costs of production deficiencies
• Coordinate quarterly physical inventory counts at plants
• Prepare monthly and quarterly variance analysis
• Review, analyze and comment on the evolution of departmental costs
• Prepare and review annual standard costs
• Assist plant management in developing annual budgets and evaluate performance against same
• Perform cost analysis at various levels and prepare recommendations and action plans
• Ensure Bills of Material integrity and development through constant review and benchmarking to actual performance
• Business modeling, “what-if” scenarios
• Pursue continuous improvement in operations reporting, analysis, commentary, scorecards, dashboards, KPIs, etc.
• Provide financial expertise and support to other functional areas of the business as needed
• Assist plant management in cycle counting processes
• Work closely with other Financial Analysts to ensure transactions between business segments are appropriately captured
• Other responsibilities as assigned

About You

• CPA designation or close to designation
• Proficient with IFRS
• Hybrid Role - Full-cycle accounting and FP&A experience (budget, forecast, analysis, cash flow, KPIs, etc.)
• JD Edwards/Oracle experience preferred; ERP experience required
• Experience in a continuous process manufacturing industry required
• Advanced Excel/PowerPoint user
• Strong communication experience
• Hands-on, collaborative and flexible

Pay Rate

$42/hour
