Our client is a global technology firm. They are looking to add a Senior Financial Analyst to be responsible for assisting in the financial statement close process, internal and external reporting, compliance, and treasury functions.

About the Opportunity

• Financial Statement Close & Reporting
  • Ensure a timely and accurate close of month-end in a multi-company/ multi-currency environment
  • Prepare and review month-end journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Prepare stand-alone and consolidated financial statements and related note disclosures
  • Coordinate the year-end external audit and address any issues as they arise
  • Prepare and analyze financial results for senior leadership
  • Assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of internal controls over financial reporting
  • Research accounting issues for compliance with GAAP and ensure the appropriate accounting policies are applied by the finance team
• Treasury and Other
  • Review and monitor short-term and long-term cash flow forecasts and assist in implementing strategies for cash management activities
  • Prepare quarterly bank covenant calculations and related reporting requirements
  • Liaise with external tax consultants and ensure corporate tax filings are completed on time
  • Identify and implement process improvement opportunities and/or automation of existing functions
  • Provide indirect supervisory support for the finance team
  • Other special projects and ad hoc duties as required

About You

• CPA, CA
• 3-5 years of progressive work experience in accounting/ auditing under IFRS or US GAAP
• Exposure to M&A and purchase price allocation, multi-subsidiary consolidation is an asset

Salary Range

$80,000 - $95,000/year
