Senior Financial Analyst

Working within a cross-functional environment, this individual will play a key role in providing decision support, while developing strong relationships across all functions. The successful candidate will be a key support for the cross-functional teams and will work very closely with Marketing, IT, Development and Operations. The role will require developing business cases for regional and national promotions, product layer launches and tests, as well as supporting growth strategies to enhance organizational decisions. The Senior Financial Analyst will have a high degree of visibility with senior management within the organization. The role will also require reporting market results to the Global headquarters. Senior leadership depends heavily on the FP&A group to accurately model and forecast the business while leading projects that will drive the business forward.

About the Opportunity  

• Partners with the company to improve strategic and tactical business decisions and drive sales growth by generating insights and action through pre-promotion analysis (break-evens/forecasting), promo tracking, and post promotion analysis
• Collaborate with the cross-functional brand builder team on new product launches and tests by deriving insights with the cross-functional team for national launches
• Collaborates with the IT team in establishing a solid automated reporting infrastructure
• Drive alignment around the annual sales forecasts by accurately reflecting business risks and opportunities in the annual SSSG forecast
• Demonstrates leadership in issuing and enhancing weekly and periodic same store sales performance for the company, while corresponding with franchisees and cross-functional partners to understand business drivers impacting results
• Ability to work in fast paced, deadline-oriented environment, be able to effectively manage multiple priorities with strong project and organization skills. Think and maintain a professional, positive attitude under pressure is also critical for this position
• Drives overall process improvements by identifying opportunities and demonstrating cross-functional leadership on closing process gaps with the team

About You

• Post-secondary education in Business, Finance, or Accounting with a minimum of 5 years proven financial planning experience or equivalent
• Highly motivated “Go-getter” with a strong drive for continuous improvement
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask detailed projects
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
• Sound business acumen, strategic thinker and analytical skills
• MBA or CPA designation is considered a strong asset
• Advanced skills in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)

• The ability to work comfortably with all levels of management

Salary Range
$75,000 - $82,000/year
