Senior Financial Analyst (Closed)

They are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join their finance team to be responsible for FP+A and full cycle accounting.

About the Opportunity

• Review project revenue/gross margins and unbilled backlog analysis with the finance/operational leaders for month end review
• Prepare the revenue recognition entries with supporting documents/calculations
• Conduct project financial close out and reconciliation
• Record journal entries, maintain and reconcile general ledger to the job cost and other sub ledgers
• Answer internal and external financial inquiries as it relates to the specific client account
• Perform timely month end close and ensure recording all pertinent transactions including project / labour / various monthly accruals
• Ensure / investigate Accounts Receivable collection, and explanation for overdue balances
• Prepare monthly reports for specific client accounts
• Conduct detailed profitability analysis of variances between planned, forecasted, and actual figures
• Conduct accurate and complete forecasting of revenue and margins by project

About You

• CPA (CMA/CGA)
• 3-5 years of progressive experience with full-cycle accounting and FP&A, month-end experience
• Knowledge and experience with project accounting/ % completion method is highly preferred

Salary Range

$80,000 - $90,000/year
