Senior Financial Analyst (Closed)

The Senior Financial Analyst, Corporate Finance role demonstrates our commitment to the Team Member Experience by providing integral services and support to our communities and their teams.

About the Opportunity

• Collaborate with department heads to create budgets and forecasts for corporate business units
• Review monthly corporate results against budgets and forecasts with department heads
• Produce the quarterly and annual consolidated and legal entity financial statements under IFRS
• Generate the quarterly and annual MD&A business commentaries and analytics
• Perform quarterly balance sheet and income statement analyses for legal entities
• Research complex accounting issues and prepare accounting memos and policy documents
• Participate in various projects and initiatives, including process improvements and financial system implementations and upgrades
• Prepare monthly management reporting packages
• Conduct monthly financial results reviews and analyses for corporate business units and entities
• Develop and review accounting entries and reconciliations
• Support audit requests and prepare supporting schedules and analyses
• Perform other duties as assigned

About You

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, Commerce or a related discipline
• Accounting Designation (CPA, CA) completed or in progress
• 3-5 years’ experience in financial analysis, accounting, and/or reporting
• Ability to multitask and prioritize concurrent tasks under pressure to meet deadlines
• High degree of accuracy and analytical skills
• Public company reporting experience
• Knowledge of IFRS reporting standards
• Excellent verbal and written English skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint and Excel)
• Experience with Yardi Voyager accounting system and SQL
• Previous experience in the HealthCare sector

Salary Range

$85,000/year
