Senior Financial Analyst (Closed)

About the Opportunity

• Analysis for any public and bank financings, including debenture offerings, credit facilities and derivatives
• Development and maintenance of an integrated corporate financial model to support the corporate strategic plan, acquisition and capital markets planning, etc.
• Analysis and presentations for all dealings with credit rating agencies
• Analysis and investor presentations for capital markets purposes
• Preparation of analysis and presentations for Board of Directors
• Analysis for intercompany financings including interest rate benchmarking studies
• Maintenance of a three-month cash flow forecast, including the identification of future cash needs by currency and any credit facility draws / repayments, as required
• Maintenance of an annual cross-border cash repatriation model
• Management of a monthly intercompany distribution process
• Maintenance of an intercompany loan schedule including managing all loan changes, maintaining the electronic files of executed agreements and monitoring loan expiries
• Preparation of  intercompany loan financial covenants across the loan portfolio
• Management of the payment of intercompany loan interest, intercompany management fees and quarterly intercompany settlements
• Preparation of intercompany items (interest, management fees and dividends) for the quarterly forecast and budget process on a country by country basis
• Foreign exchange supportive analysis and planning including the execution of FX forwards with Granite’s banking relationships
• Cash planning and execution of funding for new acquisitions
• Distribution of morning economic update from Bloomberg to participants
• Monitoring and reporting of Granite share price
• Establishment of new bank accounts in connection with new acquisitions
• Management of bank account database, wire instructions, authorized signatories and related KYC compliance
• Management of all routine electronic payments
• Execution of all electronic payments via online banking systems and follow through to ensure they are released according to schedule
• Investment of excess cash
• Management of letters of credit
• Execution of foreign exchange transactions with the bank where required
• Following up with the banks to deal with banking issues/errors, when required
• Preparation of any bank transaction-related paperwork i.e. credit facility borrowing notices, foreign exchange and investment confirmations, etc.
• Organization and filing of all treasury transactions
• Preparation of a variety of treasury related reports at month and quarter end

About You

• Advanced financial modeling, Excel and Powerpoint skills
• CPA required with solid finance, accounting and analytical skills
• Treasury / cash flow management experience is an asset
• Minimum 4 years financial forecasting and modelling experience
• Experience in a complex multinational organization is an asset

Salary Range

$80,000 - $85,000/year
