Senior Financial Analyst (Closed)

Our client is engaged in the exploration, development, and production of mineral resource properties. This organization is in growth mode, located in downtown Toronto. They are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to be responsible for maintaining financial reporting ledgers and supporting accounting, management reporting and financial reporting activities.

About the Opportunity

• Close the ledgers for certain entities in accordance with the consolidation
• Prepare monthly journal entries related to exploration financial reporting
• Prepare complete and accurate quarterly audit support binder and monthly close package
• Prepare the quarterly and annual exploration variance analysis of balance sheet and income statement
• Prepare various financial reports and related analysis as required on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
• Ensure SOX controls compliance, and implement new controls as needed
• Liaise with external and internal audit teams
• Assist in the management of corporate chart of accounts
• Departmental reports and assist in the budgeting and forecasting process

About You

• CPA, CA
• 5+ years of related experience with technical accounting and IFRS
• Superior written/oral communication skills
• Bilingual, English and French is an asset

Salary Range

$85,000 - $110,000/year
