About the Opportunity

• Prepare the revenue recognition entries (using percentage of completion revenue recognition) with supporting documents/calculations as required
• Review project revenue/gross margins and unbilled backlog analysis with the finance/operational leaders for month end review
• Conduct accurate and complete forecasting of revenue and margins by project
• Conduct detailed profitability analysis of variances between planned, forecasted, and actual figures
• Conduct project financial close out processes and reconciliation
• Record journal entries, maintain and reconcile general ledger to the job cost and other sub ledgers
• Perform timely month end close and ensure recording all pertinent transactions including project /labour/various monthly accruals
• Prepare monthly reports for specific client accounts

About You

• CPA (CMA/CGA)
• 3-5 years of large company experience with full cycle accounting (month end/ journal entries, reconciliations)
• Knowledge and experience with project accounting/% completion method - highly preferred

Salary Range

$70,000 - $80,000/year
