Senior Finance Manager - Corporate Accounting & Reporting (Closed)

About the Opportunity

• Responsible for the overall month end close process while maintaining high standards and ensuring accurate, timely and reliable reporting of monthly, quarterly and annual financial results and disclosures
• Provide on-going leadership and direction for the Corporate Accounting team of up to nine including professional development, coaching, and daily oversight of activities
• Responsible for investor relations including MD&A, Press Releases, AIF and Management Circular
• Responsible for all Corporate accounting including retail accounting, export and agency and consolidation of all legal entities
• Resource for IFRS technical accounting issues
• Ensure internal control practices surrounding the financial reporting and close process are defined, implemented, and executed
• Manage annual budget and forecast process for Corporate SG&A and Balance Sheet and liaise with departments
• Manage interim and annual audit requirements with external auditors
• Resource for accounting, internal control issues and implementation of improvements
• Special projects as required

About You

• Minimum 10 years progressive experience
• Hold a CA, CPA designation
• Maintain a high commitment
• Public company experience with consolidations and board reporting
• Proven leadership skills in achieving results
• Ability to work with a positive attitude and in a professional manner
• Enjoy working in a fast paced, changing environment 
• Ability to work with minimum supervision and be a dedicated team player
• Possess a strong attention to detail
• Possess strong interpersonal and organizational skills
• Experience manufacturing background preferred
• Advanced proficiency in Excel
• Experience with Oracle Cloud

Pay Rate

$110,000/year
