Senior Corporate Accountant (Closed)

About the Company

Our client is a multi-faced company that is growing. They have operations in Real Estate, Technology and Gaming. They are looking to hire a Senior Corporate Accountant, who will be responsible for preparing financial reports, performing account reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger, assisting with audit preparations, and performing other accounting duties as assigned.

About the Opportunity

• Preparing financial statements for Canadian and US entities
• Reconciling sub-ledger to general ledger account balances
• Assessing internal controls, including risk assessments and reviews of risk areas
• Maintaining and reconciling fixed assets schedules

About You

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
• Chartered professional accountant (CPA) designation
• Experience with Great Plains software is an asset
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly with Excel
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• 3-5 years’ experience in accounting/finance
• Experience in working with multiple legal entities under different legal umbrellas
• Experience with financial reporting requirements
• Experience with real estate accounting
• Ability to work in a collaborative work environment
• Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to work with little to no supervision and perform under pressure

Salary Range

$75,000-85,000/year
