About the Opportunity

  • You must bring the SME level skills as a Senior Cloud and Systems Administrator to the team and organization
  • You must bring a strong creative, analytical, and problem-solving mindset to the team with a focus on Azure and VMWare
  • Your focus will be on Windows and Linux administration while focusing on RHEL, Ubuntu, IDP/SSO/SAML, MS IIS, MS Windows Server, MS SQL Server, MS Active Directory, Azure Active Directory
  • Adhere to and continue the path of ITIL practices focused on the areas of incident, problem and change management
  • Your area of focus will also be with Scripting and Automation Technologies such as Bash, PowerShell, Ansible, Puppet, Docker, Lambda, Python, System Center
  • Perform administration of various cloud technologies such as Microsoft Azure - IaaS and PaaS services delivering storage, networking, identity and access management, compute, auditing, compliance
  • Perform administration of VMWare, Windows servers, and Linux Operating systems
  • You must have expert level experience with cloud technology like IaaS, PaaS, DRaaS, and Microsoft 365, Intune
  • Contribute towards the development of IT Automation/Orchestration by bringing your high level of expertise to the team
  • Deploy new services and environments locally and remotely
  • You will create, update and maintain internal build documents and runbooks to be executed on by your fellow team members and for future reference
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of all projects, technical procedures, best practices, and administrative processes
  • You must show the ability to research, develop, and implement new services, tools, and software

About You

  • A university degree is highly desired
  • 8+ years of experience in an enterprise, high availability environment focused on infrastructure management and design
  • You will focus on strong customer service/delivery and complex technical hands-on solutions
  • Expert level understanding of enterprise level networking concepts in the cloud like VPCs, Internet Gateways, ELBs, Routing and Peering, NSGs
  • Experience with cloud native and traditional on-premise backup and recovery solutions
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong communication skills with customers, teammates, management, and vendors
  • Provide thorough ticket updates
  • Monitoring and alert response of customer environments
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks efficiently and simultaneously
  • You must be able to deal with ambiguity and change that can happen regularly in an ever-changing environment. This is a result of the organization's commitment to investing into technology
  • You must posses a very strong ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Ability to take tasks to completion while ensuring that the team is updated accordingly
  • After-hours availability required, evenings and weekends which is standard for this type of position
  • On-call rotation required
  • One or more certifications, or experience with, or specialized training in related technologies are desired but not required: Microsoft 365, Microsoft Azure, RHEL, ITIL, Security +, Network +, MCSE, MCITP, etc
