Senior Business Analyst (Closed)

Our client is a leading public hospital providing a wide range of specialized assessment and treatment services. They are currently looking for a Senior Business Analyst who will work closely with the Hospital management to assist them in budgeting, forecasting and financial/statistical analyses, providing focused support and training on relevant financial issues.

About the Opportunity

• Budgeting, forecasting and financial/statistical analyses, providing focused support and training on relevant financial issues
• Work with Finance management as well as other internal departments, such as Decision Support and Clinical Informatics in the maintenance and support of financial models and evaluation of assigned Business cases, or projects
• Assisting with the preparation of the annual operating budget
• Preparing monthly/quarterly packages; participate in process review and implementing internal controls
• Work with other team members in Finance to ensure financial integrity of the General Ledger reporting structures and the Budget/Forecast computer software
• Ensure compliance with MIS Guidelines
• CICA Handbook and Government Regulations
• Participate in monthly/quarterly variance analysis and compliance reporting
• Participate in all applicable analysis to achieve accurate and timely monthly and annual financial reports
• Ensure all monthly account reconciliations are completed
• Participate in the implementation of software modeling to effectively conduct cost benefits studies and “what if” scenarios as required
• Participate in other special projects and ad hoc analysis as assigned periodically

About You

• CPA
• 3+ years FP&A OR Hybrid (Accounting/FP&A) experience
• Experience in an accounting or auditing environment with exposure to financial statement preparation and analysis
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other MS products

Salary Range

$75,000 - $83,000/year
