Senior BRM Developer (Closed)

About the Company

Our client is an audio entertainment company, and they are looking to hire a Full-Time Senior BRM Developer.

About the Opportunity

• Anticipate and resolve technical problems while instituting best practices and disciplines for software development
• Work with business analysts and project managers to prepare functional and design specifications
• Model system behaviors using best practice methods for communicating architecture and design
• Document system components and related interfaces
• Adhere to coding standards, following high-level standards across all levels of design work
• Provide feedback on proposed design solutions; include accurate level-of-effort estimates
• Interpret, understand and explain system-level diagrams and designs
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of design and coding assignments
• Address performance issues and uphold performance requirements, ensuring high scalability of all applications as well as support of high traffic volume
• Comprehend compliance issues; demonstrate familiarity with PCI compliance
• Recommend and promote new technologies and best practices
• Mentor junior developers and perform code reviews on deliverables, ensuring compliance with design and coding standards
• Provide second-level support
• Willingness to keep technical skills current

About You

• Completion of university or college program in related computer science discipline
• Minimum 6 years’ application development experience
• Must have strong C development skills, Python scripting and Unix shell scripts
• Must have in-depth knowledge of Oracle BRM and strong experience to implement business projects using OOB and customization of BRM functionalities
• Experience with Oracle BRM
• Strong Oracle PL/SQL skills
• Some Java experience would be helpful
• Strong experience in automation testing using frameworks/libraries like Junit
• Strong structured methodology experience
• Strong experience implementing common design patterns
• Experience with financial and subscription management applications
• Demonstrated proficiency in defining and documenting system components and related interfaces
• Use of UML in design conception
• Ability to deliver marginally to largely complex solutions with minimal supervision
• Ability to work from business requirements and technical design
• Ability to effectively communicate with and support other team members and groups
• Solid organizational and planning skills
• Excellent time management skills with ability to prioritize
• Ability to work under shifting deadlines in fast-paced environment
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Willingness to take initiative and follow through on projects
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently as well as in team environment

Salary

$100,000 - $130,000/year
