Senior Associate, Fund Services (Closed)

About the Opportunity

• Responsible for the accounting and administration of a portfolio of Private Equity and Closed Ended Funds
• Review and provide guidance to junior fund accountants
• Record all accounting transactions and prepare periodic work papers, management accounts and financial statements including Bank account reconciliation
• Perform follow-up with client as necessary on accounting documentation Respond to client queries
• Handle client payments and receipts
• Coordinate annual audits
• Draft annual financial statements and their related IFRS/US GAAP disclosures Monitor/adhere to Regulatory deadlines for corporate and tax filings
• Assist on client service matters, maintaining and building client relationships Undertake general administration and other projects as assigned

About You

• Detail oriented able to work with minimum supervision in a fast pace environment
• Team player with good attitude and approachable personality
• Able to multitask and is meticulous Inquisitive and self-motivated
• Strong time management skills in meeting client deadlines
• Competent accounting knowledge in IFRS and US GAAP
• At least 2-3 years of private equity accounting experience and ideally 1-2 years’ experience in the FIS Investran experience
• CPA/ University Degree – Preferred Specialist in Accounting
• Proficient user of Microsoft Packages including Powerpoint, Excel and Word

Salary

$70,000 - $80,000/year
