Our client is a publicly listed real estate company. They are looking for a Senior Analyst, Indirect Tax who will primarily be responsible for preparing commodity tax returns and supporting overall commodity tax compliance.

About the Opportunity

• Prepare and manage indirect tax compliance on a national basis.
• Assist with research in respect of indirect tax planning activities.
• Participate in the implementation of indirect tax planning strategies.
• Liaise on behalf of the department with matters pertaining to financial reporting.
• Complete and review indirect tax returns, including Financial Institution GST/HST Information returns, according to filing deadlines.
• Manage and reconcile indirect tax accounts.
• Comply with internal controls over financial reporting regarding indirect taxes.
• Manage support for external indirect tax audits.
• Assist with related duties as assigned.

About You

• CPA designation or close to completion
• Completion of the in-depth tax courses is preferred
• Minimum 3 years of related indirect income tax-related practical experience.
• Real estate or financial institutions industry knowledge is an asset.
• Experience working in tax at a public accounting firm is an asset.

Salary Range
$80,000 - $95,000/year
