About the Opportunity

• Manage/supervise accounting staff
• Provide leadership, training and direction to accountants
• Review and approve journal entries and government remittances
• Review monthly operating costs and tax recovery estimates, recovery ratios, financial statements and variance analyses
• Review and prepare monthly schedules for property results presented to the executives
• Review and prepare property related financial data and schedules for quarterly financial statements and MD&A
• Review final annual operating costs and tax recovery adjustments
• Assist in coordinating monthly reporting deadlines
• Support completion of annual budget
• Liaise with auditors and provide information for audit related queries
• Review and approve bank reconciliations

About You

• CPA
• 7-10 years of property accounting experience in commercial real estate and 3-5 years of supervisory experience
• Knowledge of accounting software such as MRI, Yardi or JD Edwards

Salary Range

$95,000 - $115,000/year
