Senior Accountant (Closed)

About the Opportunity

• Responsible for the month/quarter-end close process
• Identify and document business requirements and test cases to support system testing
• Execute test cases, communicate and document conclusions
• Participate in the design, development and implementation of a new financial system
• Analyze large financial data sets for multiple legal entities, multi accounting bases and across fiscal years
• Responsible for accounting, reconciliations and reporting
• Prepare and review financial statements for certain divisions
• Prepare or review journal entries and reconciliations

About You

• Accounting designation (CPA/CA/CMA/CGA)
• Minimum of 5 years full cycle accounting experience with post implementation project work (testing)
• Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to details
• Strong communication (verbal and written)
• Self-starter with a desire to develop their technical knowledge and skills

Salary

$90,000/year
