About the Opportunity

• Reporting directly to the Senior Manager of Financial Reporting;
• Working with Operational Finance Manager to provide technical accounting guidelines to ensure appropriate accounting treatment is applied;
• Manage the preparation and presentation of internal quarterly consolidated financial statements including intangible and goodwill reconciliations;
• Preparing complete internal package for the year-end audit, including subsidiary financial statements in accordance with ASPE and consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS;
• Preparation of internal audit files for newly acquired operating companies including purchase price allocation analysis;
• Working with external auditors to ensure that reporting deadlines are met;
• Acting as liaison between external auditors and internal Operational Finance Manager;
• Maintaining responsibility for any year-end adjustments and entries required to close off ledgers;
• Maintain and improve internal controls over financial reporting.

About You

• CPA designation
• 2+ Years progressive accounting experience within an accounting firm, preferably with experience working with private equity
• Extensive understanding and knowledge of accounting principles, ASPE and IFRS
• QuickBooks accounting experience
• Proficient in Microsoft office suite

Salary Range
$95,000 - $100,000/year
