About the Company
Our client is a food and beverage services company. They are looking for a Senior Accountant who will be responsible for day-to-day accounting functions and accounting support for designated restaurants. They will work closely with the Accounting Manager to reconcile daily financial transactions.

About the Opportunity

• Perform daily and end of month reconciliations for all cash accounts and record journal entries to the general ledger
• Reconcile AR, AP and inventory subsidiaries with GL
• Reconciling high volume visa and debit transactions
• Complete journal entries and other tasks to assist with month end close
• Assist in the preparation and review of monthly management reports and supporting schedules
• Provide accounting and analytical support to internal stakeholders
• Assist with monthly reporting and year-end audit schedules
• Assist in the preparation of ad hoc reports and financial analysis for senior management
• Manage and meet tight financial reporting deadlines
• Obtain financial information from multiple sources in a timely and accurate manner

About You

• CPA designation or in progress
• 2-4 years of accounting experience
• Experience and knowledge of Oracle NetSuite or other ERP systems
• Advanced experience with Microsoft: Word, Excel (i.e. vlookups, pivot tables), PowerPoint & Outlook
• Superior financial analytical skills; demonstrated experience in a position requiring extensive analysis to review accounts and solve accounting problems.
• Previous experience in the Restaurant Industry an asset

Salary
$85,000 - $95,000/year
